Surya was in 4th Grade in this photo taken on the home porch in Wagner, South Dakota. His Dad worked on the nearby Yankton Sioux Indian Reservation as the Principal of the 6th - 12th Grade School. His Mom worked as a Middle School Math Teacher. The boys went to school at the Wagner Elementary School.The cat was a stray we took-in for awhile. The child owner of the cat was glad we took it in as it was at-first kicked out of their house by the parents. Later the parents relented and the girl came for the cat.
